> by Sébastien Lifshitz An award-winning and crowd pleaser documentary, documenting the touching story of eight-year-old transgender girl Sasha and her loving family as they work towards her acceptance by her community. *+ Join us on a Transatlantic Zoom Discussion with Director Sebastien Lifshitz on Sunday, May 2 @ Noon PDT.* [image: Petite Fille] [image: Lifshitz] Even though she was born a boy, Sasha has always known she was a little girl. As society fails to treat her like the other girls her age - at school, ballet lessons, or birthday parties - her supportive family, led by Sasha’s amazing mother Karine, fights every day to make her understood and accepted in her community, particularly at school. This tender, award-winning documentary tells Sasha’s story. It is a story of unconditional love as much as it is the story of a struggle that is only beginning. *Little Girl* was recently presented on French TV where it broke audience records! Sébastien Lifshitz’s previous documentary *Adolescentes* won three 2021 César Awards (Best Documentary, Best Editing & Best Sound). *→ WATCH TRAILER HERE <

>*(*Petite Fille*), a beautiful and insightful documentary, will open on Friday, April 30 on our Streaming Platform. Even though she was born a boy, Sasha has always known she was a little girl. As society fails to treat her like the other girls her age - at school, ballet lessons, or birthday parties - her supportive family, led by Sasha’s amazing mother Karine, fights every day to make her understood and accepted.

>Available to rent for 3 days only, till Monday, March 29 @ Noon PDT (Once you rent the film, you have 3 days to start watching it).[image: marguerite]* The second film in our *French Film Friday Series* is a comedy full of fun! *The Fantastic Journey of Margot & Marguerite* plays with the familiar body-swapping concept (remember *Vice Versa* or *Freaky Friday?*) but this time, two teenagers living 70 years apart trade places. Taking place in part during World War II, the film also sneaks in some history lessons between laughs for the young adults, and has enough cleverness for the grownups to enjoy. Alice Pol, playing Aunt Alice, holds a striking resemblance to American actress Kathryn Hahn, and, like Hahn, is a scene-stealing delight. *WATCH THE FANTASTIC JOURNEY OF MARGOT & MARGUERITE <
