Festival is happy to present the 2017 CÉSAR NOMINATED SHORTS (ANIMATION and
LIVE ACTION categories).
France's best shorts of the year will be featured at the 10th anniversary
edition of our WINTER SHORT FILM SCREENING on SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 25, 2017,
7pm, at the Crest Theatre!

César Awards” while enjoying coffee and pastries provided by our official

The Crest bar (operated by the SFFF) will be open from 6pm and all evening

*10th WINTER SHORT FILM SCREENING*

It is movie awards season!
*The 10th anniversary edition of our WINTER SHORT FILM SCREENING presenting
the 2017 CÉSAR Nominated Shorts (ANIMATION and LIVE ACTION categories) will
be held on SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 25, 2017, 7pm, at the Crest Theatre!*
*After the films, you will be invited to vote for the “Sacramento César
Awards” while enjoying coffee and pastries provided by our official coffee
sponsor, the delightful COFFEE WORKS <http://coffeeworks.com/>.*
The 41st César Ceremony (French Academy Awards) will have been held the day
before (Friday, February 24) and the César winners will be announced at the
end of the evening, along with the results of the Sacramento voting. Will
we agree on the winners?
*The bar will be open for the evening, serving Wine, and Pastis or
Champagne Cocktails for $5! All proceeds benefit the Festival, that's what
we call a win-win deal!*
Also, Empress Tavern <https://www.empresstavern.com/> will be serving a
very special French dinner at 5pm. More details and reservation info coming
soon.
*Doors open at 6pm - Films at 7pm! Ticket Price: $12 General Admission for
all (includes a $0.75 Crest facility fee).*

The Sacramento French Film Festival is proud to be part of the ambitious
multidisciplinary art project, ArtStreet presented by the art collective M5
Arts (the same who also brought the fabulous Art Hotel to Sacramento last
February). ArtStreet is a free event that will be held during three weeks
(February 3 – 25, 2017) in a big abandoned warehouse in Sacramento. More
than 100 artists will be involved, and so are we!
Each Wednesday night of ArtStreet, the SFFF will present a free "Soirée
Cinéma". Don't miss this unique, fun, and artsy experience!
*A different program will be shown each week: two screenings will be
dedicated to experimental short films, the third one will showcase a
beloved French classic. * The complete program will be announced shortly.
*You will be provided with "Silent Disco Headphones" for a full sound
immersion. Bring your own chair for better comfort and enjoy the show! *
*Dates*: February 8, 15 and 22, 2017.
*Time*: 7pm.
Attendance to ArtStreet is limited so please arrive at least 1/2 hour prior
to the screening!
*Location*: ArtStreet, 300 1st Avenue (corner of 1st Avenue and 3rd Street).
