This is the story of a young man, Luc (Logann Antuofermo), who goes to
Paris to sit the entrance examination to L'Ecole Boulle, a prestigious
carpentry school. At a bus stop, he meets Djemila (Oulaya Amamra) with whom
he spends a few days before taking the train back home. Luc is very close
to his widowed father (André Wilms), a carpenter himself. While they both
anxiously await the results of the exam, Luc reunites with his high school
girlfriend, Geneviève (Louise Chevillotte). Meanwhile, in Paris, Djemila
