*12th WINTER SHORTS FEST Saturday, February 23, 2019 *

*"THE REGION'S PREMIER FILM EVENT" Carla Meyer - Sacramento Bee*

*SEASON'S GREETINGS!* * A Letter from the SFFF's Executive & Artistic
Director*

*AU REVOIR LA-HAUT (SEE YOU UP THERE) by Albert Dupontel 5th MiniFest
Sunday, October 14 2018*

*Dear Friends, Supporters & Patrons, *

As I reflect on the past year, I am grateful for you following us year
after year, and for your enthusiasm when attending and talking about our
programs. Whether you are one of our current or past sponsors, or an
attendee, your support makes it possible and worthwhile for us to continue
our tradition of producing high-quality events.

My highlights of 2018 were being able to bring a record five guests from
France to the June Festival – director/star Océan, directors Antony
Cordier, Guillaume Caramelle & Jean-Louis Milesi, and film subtitler
Sionann O’Neill – as well as four local experts; and of course, receiving
stellar audience feedback about the MiniFest at the IMAX program. Several
people even told me that Albert Dupontel's *Au revoir là-haut* *(See You Up
There*) was the best film they had ever seen! I know that you have your own
memorable favorites from our offerings this year.

*We are already planning our 2019 season. Please save the dates:*

   - *12th WINTER SHORTS FEST**, Featuring the César-nominated short films*
Saturday, February 23, 2019 - Crest Theatre
   -
*18th SACRAMENTO FRENCH FILM FESTIVAL *June 21-30, 2019 - Crest Theatre
   -
*6th MINIFEST * Sunday, October 27 - Esquire IMAX Theatre

*We need your help to make this 2019 season our best ever!*

I realize you receive a lot of donation requests at this time of the year,
but if you continue to value and enjoy the SFFF, please help us carry on
our good work by donating today! Since 2002, we have strived to not only
entertain you, but also to provide you with exposure to different cultures.
Our film selections offer singular perspectives on some of the real issues
facing the world today, which can help us all understand and empathize with
each other better.

Receiving your donation now will make it easier for us to carry out our
vision for the year, in which we hope to expand our guest program even
further to provide you with more opportunities to interact with filmmakers
and experts on French cinema and culture.

Please scroll below for details about how you can help, with *financial or
in kind donations*, and the benefits attached. In advance, thank you for
considering the Sacramento French Film Festival in your end-of-the-year
giving.

And again, MERCI for your yearlong support.
I wish you a beautiful, peaceful and cheerful 2019!
