Greg, I'm definitely interested since this is local to me. How quickly does SCCA process their memberships (as I need a card to enter any event)?DonovanFrom: greg.jacobs at jacobsracing.comTo: sportdriving at mountainroads.comDate: Sun, 30 Jul 2006 15:25:14 -0700Subject: Re: [SportDriving] First Auto-x
Sounds like fun!
I wanted to come down but didn’t
make it out early enough. I live up on Concord.
I am going to the SFRSCCA event coming up in San Francisco. Anyone gonna come out and play
at that one? Or the Oakland
autox coming up?

You have to be member of the SCCA to play.
Greg

First auto-x; what a blast! I think
I really enjoy driving now and will continue going to events. I would
love to try a trackday in my little miata.
I was so thankful to have so many friends at the course. Aleks, thanks
very much for continually reminding me to come out! Let me know if you
need a hand in your garage w/ the GC's. I also, of course, am interested
in riding in an M3 w/ fresh suspension since my M3 also has 120k miles on it.
Also nobody gave me shit about driving a miata at a BMW event. People
were so so nice. I really enjoyed my time and glad I joined the club
(btw, when do my stickers come? wanna put them on my miata =) )
Thanks again,
Donovan

You have to join the BMWCCA to run with us. You should be a member of it anyway, since you have a BMW :). You can bring whatever you want to drive.

You can sign up for the autocross online until midnight tonight.. it's $50 for the event + $40/yr for the BMWCCA membership. We give you *7* runs + possible fun-runs depending on time. When you register online, lunch is included!

If you don't sign up by midnight, you can sign up on-site for $60 (+$40 for the bmwcca). You have to be there by 8:15 or so (regardless)... It's at Marina.
