HNA Neighbors:

 

If you have an opinion concerning the Mayor's proposal to offer Chief Cooper
a 3-year contract, I would recommend sharing your thoughts with our City
Council representative Dr. Carol Berz.  Here is her e-mail:
CBB4PDRS at aol.com  I think the Council is set to vote on this proposal
tonight, so I would recommend doing this as soon as possible today.

 

If you agree with the proposal, then tell her so and why.  If you disagree
with the proposal, then tell her so and why.  She has been receptive to my
e-mails concerning this issue, but she's probably tired of hearing from me.
It would be more effective if she heard from others in our neighborhood.  

 

This is not a political statement from me or HNA, but rather a way for us to
voice our opinion one way or the other to our elected officials.  We spend a
lot of time at our meetings and on our website discussing crime in our
neighborhood, so I think it is appropriate that we voice our opinion on the
future direction and leadership of the police department.
