Please see my email discussion with Captain Dunn and Chief Williams. They have advised we not contact the owner at this time. We should plan to work closely with the Police so we can begin the process of contacting the owner as soon as they say it is in our best interest to take that action.
Maddie and Meredith (and anyone else in that area) please note they ask for detailed traffic information. Could you begin to keep a log of who comes and goes for a few days?

Continue to send us any information
related to vehicle and/or foot traffic if you can get a tag without being
obvious, times that traffic is heavier than others etc. Narcotics are aware of
the location and we have made several stops at the location in the past and
this weekend. In the e-mails it was discussed about contacting the owner, maybe
if you do they would consider eviction over the nuisance. I have copied
narcotics so they can advise if they would prefer you not contact the owner so
hold off until they advise on it.

I think the only question
we have is what details can be shared about the home at 103 Germantown's
involvement in the shootings and what the neighborhood can do to press the
issue to stop the problem. From our perspective this house is a public
nussance. It's been for sale for several months and has lots of
questionable traffic as well as shootings. I know the narcotics officer
said we just needed to give him an address and details and he could check it
out. Any idea if this is being done already or what we need to do to work
with them and you?

We are working on this incident of shots fired in the area.
We have in fact made several arrests that night that might be connected to this and the 3
shootings in Sector II over the weekend. The reason it was not in the media I
guess is due to it only being shots fired and no one hit. Personally I am glad
it was not put in the media and made to look worse than it was. That also just
gives the people involved what they want notoriety. We are working hard to
clear these incidents and arrest the ones involved we are glad no more serious
injuries occurred in this.

for the information. At this point calling or emailing the listing agent, Kim,
hasn't worked for Christl. Would anyone be opposed to writing Mr. Cunningham a
letter from HNA? Not sure if this would necessarily accomplish anything other
than a paper trail, but it's worth a try. I'm not familiar with R.T.'s radio
show but, from what I've read online it looks like he would definitely get the
word out if we let him know about it. I'm just thinking out loud so to
speak, any other suggestions?

I have checked all 3 TV websites, the Sunday Times Free
Press Online edition and the Chattanooga Police Blotter online and find nothing
regarding either of the reports of gunfire for both nights. I don’t know

I heard 3 quick shots around 12:45 last night. I
called 911 and the operator said another call had been made and police were on
the way. She took my info, but an officer did not come by our house, I have no
idea where the shots came from but I could hear them clearly. We live at 3616
Monte Vista near the 103 Brainerd house that's across from Maddie and her
family. I hate that people involved in who knows what feel the need to shoot at
people in my neighborhood. I wanna know who owns that house and what we need to
do to wake them up to the fact that dangerous people inviting crime into our
neighborhood are living there!
Any idea who owns it? I say we make a visit to the listing agents office, maybe
then she'll talk to us. It could have been another house, other people than the
ones living there, but obviously we need police presence in our area. Two
nights of gun fire in a row is completely unacceptable. I agree with Maddie, I
should not have to fear stepping out onto my front porch.
