Actually, as someone who lives on Lerch, I can tell you that we still
get our share of cut through traffic--instead of all of it--as we once
did.

I agree that traffic should be shared, but I hope you're not
suggesting removing speed bumps on Lerch to re funnel the traffic
there and return to the status quo of all the traffic on Lerch?
