Thank you so much to Scott, Trey, Kevin and all those who made the meeting tonight so successful. I think this event was an awesome example of what an organized, well run neighborhood organization can be! I am very proud to be a member of Hilltop!
GREAT JOB!

Kevin,
Please distribute this email to our neighborhood.
I am very upset to hear that Channel 12 broadcast a video tonight showing an arrest of Robert "Bobby" Williams as if he had something to do with the recent break ins. I have known Bobby since first grade when we attended Missionary Ridge elementary school. We later went to Senter School and ended up classmates again at Notre Dame High.
Bobby used to have a home on Westview or Eastview. He was an ironworker for many years, was injured, and began to drink heavily. He lost his family and became homeless. He works the occasional odd job and panhandles. He is not a thief. He has not had a car for many years & is physically ill with diabetes.
I've talked to Bobby since the rash of breakins started & asked him to let me know if he sees anything. He came to my office last week & gave me a description of a suspicious truck at the BX that someone was loading things into. It turned out it was legitimate but did appear suspicious - one of my neighbors truck had broken down and they were carrying items to the spare truck at the BX. Bobby was trying to help me.
He is the same man who was thrown into the back of a patrol car some time ago and dumped like garbage at Camp Jordan. I hope he is not being used as a scapegoat in this situation.
Joan Flores

Subject: [HNA News] Thursday meeting - Please attend!
Hilltoppers,
If you have been watching the news lately, you've probably seen several of our neighbors giving interviews to the press, etc. Tonight, Channel 3 has listed the date, time and place of our Thursday night meeting. So I am sure media will be present to follow up on the story. Mayor Littlefield, Carol Berz, Marti Rutherford and several members of the police force will be present. Now is the time to voice our concerns!!!
If at all possible, I hope each one of you can attend the Thursday night meeting. There is strength in numbers, and I believe this type of UNITY is what we've been attempting to create with our neighborhood organization.
It's great seeing us all pulling together.
Thanks,
Kevin
