our home phone number on it.  A message can be left on the home
number.  Or, if someone finds him, I can be reached on my cell at

 Property crimes investigators also are looking into a home invasion Friday night in the 3600 block of Navajo Drive 
in Brainerd. Two women told police that two men kicked in their door and demanded they take off their clothes 
and give them their money and valuables, Sgt. Weary said. 

    The women were put in a bathroom and, shortly thereafter, a man and another woman arrived at the home and 
had a gun pulled on them, Sgt. Weary said. The man scuffled with one of the robbers while the two women already 
in the house escaped out a back bedroom window, Sgt. Weary said. 

    The man who scuffled with the intruder was shot in the leg, she said. 

    Police initially did not send out a report to the media about the incident because the public information officers 
didn't receive a report as they usually do, Sgt. Weary said. The media report was issued Tuesday. 

    No one has been arrested in connection with the crime.

The dog Therese is describing is the same dog that we found last  
night in her email forwarded below.  After seeing him in better light  
we discovered that he is definitely marked like a Dalmation but could  
be a mix with an American Bulldog or perhaps Boxer.  We walked him  
around the neighborhood a little last night on a leash and then put  
him in our fenced yard for the night.  He enjoyed a big breakfast  
this morning and is doing well.  We live at 3910 Conner Street and my  
cell is 505-8959.  If you are missing this dog or know who is please  
stop by or call.  I should be home most of the day.

I saw a little white curly haired mama dog in the Food Lion parking lot
around 6 pm this evening. She obviously has a litter somewhere. We could not
catch her but I did get her away from Brainerd Road & back towards Provence.
She looks like she needs food. Just wanted to spread the word in case
someone is missing her. May be a Peek A Poo?

One other correction.  This is NOT Shepherd HILLS Recreational Facility.  It is simply the Sheperd Recreational Facility.  The meeting is at 6pm., the directions listed in the original email are accurate.

With all the more important news in our lives, I hesitate to bring this 
to you, but here goes, anyway:

A young-ish gray tabby has adopted us.  He is very affectionate, appears 
pretty healthy, not a feral animal, has been socialized with humans and 
has no collar. 

I intend to adopt this nice cat unless he belongs to you or someone you 
know.

I live at 3614 Lerch Street.

Hi everyone,
 If anyone has recently seen a feral black and white shorthaired medium sized cat with injured back legs (or leg), please email me. I have a trap from Mckamey and am trying  to catch her to get her some veterinary care. She (or he) used to be a regular at our house when we had cats outside. I last saw her Sat Oct 18. I live at the corner of Hilltop and Lerch. Thank you!
