[HNA News] Special Permit requested at 300 Germantown Road

I oppose this request for a variance and I will attend the zoning
meeting and say so.
I suppose that 15 kids during the day would not disrupt our lives all
that much. I don't object to the nature of the business, it wouldn't be
any more of a distraction than an attorney's office.
The speed of the traffic on Germantown and the obstruction of folks
turning left in the morning or late afternoon is the problem. They
propose to close their facility at precisely the time that everyone is
lined up waitin' to get on I-24. A close inspection of the application
does not explicitly ask for a curb cut on Germantown, but that would be
foolhardy, indeed. It's foolish enough to approve a variance that would
attract more traffic turning left from Germantown.
