[HNA News] Anyone lost a dog?

Another lost dog has found his way to our front porch (I'm starting to think
that dogs have something similar to what hobos used to do to mark friendly
houses ... or maybe it's just our St. Francis statue.) When I opened the
front door last night, this pup just walked right in like he belonged here.
Anyway, this little guy looks like he's part beagle - black, tan & gray -
his face and ears are mostly black. He's got some medical issues - a pretty
big swollen area on his belly, and either that or something else affects his
walk. He's not a puppy, but not real old - maybe 5-6 years. He seems well
cared for; he's slightly overweight and not in the least bit timid. He barks
when he wants to come in, needs water, food, etc. so he's obviously used to
people. No collar, though.
If anyone knows who his owner might be, let me know. If we don't hear
anything in the next day or so, we're going to call either a vet or McKamey
to get him on some antibiotics to fight the swelling.
Also - if I'm not sending this correctly / to the right list, someone let me
know!
Thanks,
Leslie Smith
