Is there anyone interested in going to this input meeting this coming 
Thursday, from 6:30 to 8:30pm, in the Chattanoogan hotel's ballroom? There 
was an article in yesterday's (Sunday's) paper. This follows along with an 
editorial in last Sunday's paper, I believe, on making sure that parks are 
established in all neighborhoods that are inviting and available to 
residents of all ages. I don't have the editorial in front of me or the 
article on the man who was invited and visited Chattanooga and gave that 
encouragement. He emphasized that it was not enough just to revitalize the 
downtown area that a comprehensive plan was needed for the development of 
the entire city. 

The Chatt. Green committee has split into 4 groups--education, policy, 
natural resources, healthy communities, and energy efficiency. There should 
be something there of interest for everyone. 

I'll be going and taking notes. I hope to see others there.
